The goal of the 认证 Section is to ensure two objectives:
- That the 利昂县警长办公室 maintains its accredited status with the Commission for Florida 执法 认证 (CFA) and the Florida Corrections 认证 Commission (FCAC) through compliance with applicable accreditation standards.
- That the 利昂县警长办公室 objectively reviews office facilities, 财产, 设备, 人员, 行政, operational and detention activities through regular inspections outside the normal supervisory and line inspection procedures.
The 认证 Section will accomplish these two primary objectives through:
- 认证管理 - the regular review of the over 260 CFA standards and over 240 FCAC Standards that are applicable to the 利昂县警长办公室, and ensuring that responsibilities of each standard are met on a timely basis, so that the 利昂县警长办公室 will maintain its status as an accredited 年龄ncy through CFA and FCAC.

The Commission for Florida 执法 认证 was established in December 1994 and is comprised of four (4) Sheriffs, 四(4)警察局长, and one (1) representative each from the Association of Counties, 城市联盟, 州执法长官协会, 司法, 和监察长.
